My Genealogy Girl: Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing this blog. I love genealogy – people say I light up when I talk about it. To me genealogy, like history, is best explained in this quote by David McCullough: “History is about human nature. It’s about trying to understand people. And cause and effect in life. And that’s why it is so everlastingly interesting.” So my purpose for this blog is…to share some stories and photographs from my family tree…to share the ups and downs of my research…to share things I’ve learned along the way . . . to share what I love and find so everlastingly interesting.
